President Moon Jae-in`s so called `driver theory` has become more resilient after the inter-Korean summit. US President Donald Trump has quickly been moving to a "denuclearization watch" as Kim Jong-un will meet with North Korean counterparts within three to four weeks of the inter-Korean summit.

On the other hand, the Korea-US summit meeting scheduled to be held earlier this month is expected to act as a benchmark for the denuclearization talks between the three countries. It is the seventh summit meeting between Korea and Japan. However, the agenda and personality are different from previous meetings. It is held shortly after the inter-Korean summit and just before the summit talks between the two Koreas. Also, it is a place to confirm the cooperation and cooperation between Japan and China on North Korea`s denuclearization measures.

The three-way Korea-Japan summit seems to be a place to draw up cooperation between Japan and China and seek understanding, once the US-North Korea summit talks about North Korea`s "complete nuclear dismantlement.¡±

Meanwhile, Japan and China are also concerned that North Korea will be excluded from the discussion on denuclearization. Hong Kong`s South China Morning Post has reported on April 30 that China is likely to be excluded from the war ending negotiation. The SCMP pointed out that China, which is a party to the ceasefire agreement, can be thoroughly excluded from this process, despite it is expected that the North Korea`s denuclearization and the negotiation will be discussed soon.

China is expected to announce its position on the necessity of resuming the six-party talks on the North Korean nuclear issue and the need for the four-party summit in the South and the North at the summit meeting between China and Japan.

Japan, on the other hand, has also become urgent. The Japanese government, which has maintained its hard-line stance toward North Korea, is embarrassed when the peace process on the Korean peninsula is urgent.

Japan is now expected to link up the North Korea-Japan diplomatic normalization process, including the abductees issue, and multilateral talks on the North Korean nuclear issue at the summit meeting.

South Korea is expected to discuss the results of the inter-Korean summit in Japan and China at this summit, and look for cooperation between Japan and China on the understanding that the three countries should gather their strengths to resolve the North Korean nuclear issue.

In particular, coordination with China is essential during the summit meeting between Korea and China. Moon has a plan to end with the declaration of the end of the four Koreas, South and North America at the summit, when the problem of denuclearization of North Korea is resolved.

The Panmunjom Declaration already declared the end of the year and the three-party or four-party talks will be held in order to transform the armistice into a peace treaty.
