Kakao recently announced its management vision of `Kakao 3.0`, replacing a large number of affiliate representatives. The feature is that NHN (now Naver), who is the `parent` of Kim Bum-soo, chairman of the board of directors of Kakao.

Kakao Friends, a character subsidiary of Kakao, on March 29, announced a new line-up representative for Kwon Seung-ho as a new representative. He joined NHN in 2002 and served as director and director of the design center. From 2013 until recently, he served as a representative of Naver`s grandson, Line Play.

Kakao has changed the representatives of each affiliate after the announcement of the new vision of `Kakao 3.0` on March 27. Most of them are those who have been involved in NHN, where Kim Bum-soo was formerly involved.

Mr. Yong Min, who was elected on March 16, has co-worked with Kim Chairman and NHN. He served as head of eBiz at NHN from 2000 to 2009, and Joe from Naver Design and Creative Marketing & Design (CMD) at NHN from 2003 to 2010. The two men are reportedly to have Kim`s direct recruitment in 2016.

Not many people have joined in the past. Nam Kyung Hoon, president of Kakao Games, and Moon Tae-sik, CEO of Kakao VX, a grandchild company, joined Kim as chairman and founder member of Hangame in 1999. Since then, Hangame has merged with Navercom to become NHN, while both Namkung and Moon have represented NHN in NHN.

Meanwhile, Kim Jae Yong of Kakao Japan joined NHN Japan (current line) in 2006 and served as creative director. In 2000, he became CEO of NHN and became president of NHN America.

Therefore, Kim Chairman and NHN`s chief executive officer of the cacao affiliate interpreted Kim`s intention to strengthen overseas business. It is believed that it can be trusted in conjunction with the announcement of the `Cacao 3.0` vision, which focuses on strengthening overseas business, and has placed forward talented people with rich business experience from NHN.

An industry expert said, "Although Cacao has grown into KRW 2 trillion companies by expanding its business with content, commerce and advertising, it is necessary to achieve overseas performance in order to achieve sustainable growth." In order to strengthen overseas business, It seems that people who have built trust have been placed as `Keyman`.
