Seoul Jamsil Coupang New Building. This is a space that reflects the freedom you feel when you visit Silicon Valley.

Coupang, which relocated its office in Jamsil in Samseong-dong, Seoul in April, is using the 8th to 26th floor of Tower 730, located near Jamsil Bridge. Coupang, which operates offices in Silicon Valley in the United States and Beijing and Shanghai in China, calls the Jamsil office here as `Seoul office`.

You can notice the interior with brown, red, orange, green and blue colors as you enter the 19th floor where Coupang developers work. The walls of the office are equipped with whiteboards and markers for meetings anytime, and some walls are made from orange boards. There is no partition between employees` offices in an open-space office. Those who want to avoid exposure to their work and privacy have installed a light-green, leaf-shaped shield over them.

Meanwhile, there is a piece of paper on the wall that showed the company`s commitment to sophistication of the search platform. "Let`s build a search query platform so that customers can see what they are looking for and find what they`re looking for." Coupang has recently broken down its search filtering to create a system that allows customers to precisely search for the desired product with just filter adjustments. On the one side of the office, white, long, long desks were laid out without finding the owner. Coupang said, "It is a space to utilize when a new TFT or a team is formed," he said.

18th Floor Coupang MDs and the seller`s meeting room came into my eyes. In the case of 11th Street, Kang Fang has a `cellar zone` for sellers in Gangnam, which is far from the office, but Kupang operates a meeting facility in the building. In particular, Jamsil, where the building is located, is close to Dongseoul Express Bus Terminal and one station, so the accessibility of sellers from all over the country is better than before. The 18th floor meeting room is an interview waiting room for `Coupangman`, a `rocket ship` article. The wall was decorated with pictures of the Coupangmen.

The 17th floor where the in-house cafe is located and on the walls, there is a video that explains the corporate culture of Coupang, where employees sit around and work on a laptop with a cord attached. This is where Coupang collects staff members for a snack party every time they reach the highest turnover in a month. After moving to Jamshil, Coupang has renewed its best deal in June and July. Coupang said, "We had a party here last August when we finished the work of transferring all the Coupang services with our own technology."
