Russian hackers have hacked around the world, while another Russian hacker organization that hacked Hillary Clinton¡¯s campaigns in the US presidential election last year was found to have attacked about 100 Korean military personnel.

According to an internal report of Dell`s EMC security subsidiary, SECUREWORKS, the hacker organization TG-4127 (Fancy Bear), supported by the Russian government from March 2015 to May last year, has at least 4700 governments • Press • Citizen groups that have tried to hack Google Gmail accounts for greetings. Related news was also reported in some foreign news earlier this month.

We have verified the details of the SecureWorks Report and found that 2% of the 4700 Gmail accounts attacked by this hacker organization were Korean government and military personnel. Even simple calculation, the domestic government greeting mails of nearly 100 people were attacked by Russian hackers. It is publicly known that hackers behind the Russian government are hacking the world, but this is the first time that an attack on domestic government officials has been revealed publicly.

The company categorized the victims of the attacked Gmail accounts by nationality, with 64 percent in the US, 14 percent in NATO, 6 percent in Britain, 4 percent in Syria, 2 percent in the UN, 2 percent in the UAE, , Followed by China (2%), Norway (2%) and Italy (2%).

John Kerry, former Secretary of State Colin Powell, former Secretary of State at the time of the hacking, and former NATO commander Wesley Clark, who was a candidate for 2003 Democratic presidential nomination, were among the victims. Given that this is a typical target-type hack that only high-ranking officials are aimed at, domestic victims are estimated to be government-level military personnel at the same level.

SECUREWORKS analyzes this data as the tip of the iceberg. In fact, according to a recent Google announcement, 15% of email and social networking users have account hijacking experience, and about 788,000 accounts were stolen from hackers last March to March of this year. If you include users who do not use Gmail, the actual hacking victim seems to be much more. According to the Associated Press, a total of 195 internet accounts used by President Donald Trump and family members and businesses this month have been systematically hacked by Russian hackers four years ago.

"Most of the hackers targeted at specific targets in Korea have been attacked by China and North Korea," said Choi Hae-ri, the head of the Counter-Terrorism Response Team. "There have been a lot of attacks in Russia, "It is a serious situation, as it was the first time we have been attacked."

Prime Minister Theresa May said in a speech to business leaders in London on Tuesday (November 13) that "Russia repeatedly violated the airspace of several European countries and is constantly campaigning against cyber-espionage." And that she is ready to retaliate.
