Artificial Intelligence (AI) of JKE Inspection

Researchers at the University of Bari, Italy, have recently published a study showing that AI can diagnose Alzheimer`s disease in advance. AI, which studied brain MRI (MRI) of normal people and Alzheimer`s disease patients, detected Alzheimer`s disease patients with 86% accuracy. The AI also identified 84% of patients with mild cognitive impairment who were more likely to develop Alzheimer`s disease within 10 years. Alzheimer`s disease is the best way to find symptoms early and delay the course of the disease because there is no definitive treatment.

# Start up in Utah, `Canary Speech` uses AI deep learning technology to develop a technique to diagnose diseases such as Parkinson`s disease and Alzheimer`s disease by grasping patients` subtle voices, slow tones and word spacings. For example, Alzheimer`s patients use fewer simple words as the disease progresses. The company is testing the technology to diagnose American football players` concussion through voice and plans to develop technologies to diagnose and predict more diverse diseases such as depression, heart disease, and ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder).

The brain is still an unknown area, so it is often difficult to treat even if the disease occurs. However, as aging increases the incidence of fatal brain diseases such as dementia, it is urgent to develop technologies to diagnose and treat them early. Artificial intelligence (AI) is emerging as a diagnostic and remedy for these brain diseases.

In the case of Korea, studies are being actively carried out to overcome fatal brain diseases such as AI and dementia. Gachon University Gil Hospital will use AI technology to accumulate Jeonju, from prevention of brain disease to diagnosis and treatment, and use it to provide personalized specialized medical services. The brain science research institute under the hospital plans to complete the Brain Disease Guidance Platform based on the 7T magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and positron emission tomography (HRRT-PET).

Dongguk University Ilsan Hospital Neurology Professor Kim Dong-kyoung team developed a technique to diagnose cerebral infarction using brain MRI image and clinical big data. This AI-based diagnostic assistant system, developed in cooperation with a domestic company, J. ELKE INSPECTION, not only categorizes patients with cerebral infarction through imaging, but also finds the cause. Currently, the Food and Drug Administration is in the process of approving the approval of the Food and Drug Administration. Clinical trials will be conducted at Dongguk University Ilsan Hospital and Bundang Seoul National University Hospital.

Lee Dae-mok Hospital will develop AI robots specialized for brain neuropathy. The hospital plans to cooperate with Hankam Group, which owns a self-developed robotics AI service server platform (RSSP), to develop robotic medical devices that take into consideration the characteristics of platform brain disease patients using AI technology.

A representative from the domestic medical industry said, "Early diagnosis through AI can reduce social costs caused by brain diseases such as dementia. It is a task to raise the accuracy and safety of AI and to build up a sufficient clinical basis."
