Toyota Motor Co. has recently revealed that the `Camry` new car engine has paid 200,000 to 300,000 vouchers to the buyer of the car as consumers complain about the phenomenon.

Toyota Korea, which puts its precious quality in the foreground, is pouring an unqualified attention on whether it sells a car with quality problems and is late to worry about consumer complaints with gift certificates.

Especially, Toyota Korea has been criticized for being discriminated against by injured borrowers who are not involved in the rusty parts and gift certificates since June.

According to the company, Toyota Motor Co., Ltd. (KOREA) stated on September 26 that the company has provided dealers with rust-proofing and gift certificate policy in response to recent rusts in Camry and Camry hybrid vehicles. If the rust is found in the car after the purchase on June 1, KRW 200,000 gift voucher payment and rust prevention work, if the rust in the car purchased recently, KRW 300,000 gift certificate and rust prevention work.

From August to September 20, more than 80 reports of rust in the engine room and around the steering wheel (steering wheel) were received at the automobile recall center. However, Camry sold 1610 cars (including hybrid) sold in Korea from June to November. As a result, the actual damage borrower is expected to increase more than the recall center acceptance.

Toyota has used the means of paying vouchers to help prevent the meltdown. However, it seems to have aggravated the situation. The borrower purchases before June 1, as specified by the company, cannot receive any compensation other than the rusting work even if he / she finds a rust incident. There is a controversy about `reverse discrimination` about compensation naturally. This kind of criticism is spreading in the online community centered on Camry.

Meanwhile, a South Korean Toyota representative said, "We limited the timing of the issuance of the gift certificate, because there was almost no rust problem in the vehicle that was sold before."
