With the spread of "non-face-to-face transactions," which can be done through banking, mobile banking, and Internet banking, financial institutions are rapidly becoming closer to the reality that AI systems replace bankers.

According to the Bank of Korea, Internet banking rate including mobile was 80.6% in total inquiry service in December of last year.

It is the highest level since 2005 when the BOK began to issue relevant statistics. On the other hand, offline transactions such as window trading and automation equipment accounted for only 15.5%

In fact, the emergence of the Internet banking business here has enabled banks to concentrate their investment on FinTech by strengthening AI and introducing big data.

Major banks are engaged in the development of AI `chatbots` (chatting robots) which analyze customer assets and recommend financial products. Chattbot is a compound word of `chatter` and `robot` which means `chattering`.

The related industry is seeing a rapid pace of commercialization starting this year as its ability to provide high-quality services while reducing costs for customers.

Among the commercial banks, Woori and Hana and Kookmin banks are most prominent.

Hana Financial Group (SKT), a joint venture between SK Telecom (SKT) and Finnq (Finnq), launched a financial application (app) Fink is designed to help users to innovate their financial lives by analyzing the overall consumption by moving away from sales focused on financial products such as deposits and loans.

Fink set up a financial life management service using `See Me` function to analyze and analyze financial transaction history and `Fingo` chatting program based on artificial intelligence (chatbot).

Fink analyzes various bank accounts and credit card usage records, and provides various information on expenditure scale based on the user consent, consumption habits, financial asset status, income and expenditure changes.

For instance, if somebody ask by chatting, "How much did you use your card this month?", Finnq replied, "You used a total of KRW 25,300 for the cards from September 1 to September 4 and card recommendation and recommendation of savings. "Using the Simi function, you can compare the expenditure and the account balance to determine the user`s pocket condition and check the consumption patterns.¡±

Finnq provides most of the functions of Internet banking.

At the same time as you sign up, you can create a `basic account` with a simple number appended to the subscriber`s mobile phone number and link it with the KEB Hana bank account.

Woori Bank also launched a chatbot service `Wibi bot` on August 11 using AI technology to provide real-time consultation with customers.

Webi bot combines the existing scenario method with artificial intelligence technology to understand the questioner`s intentions and present the answers.

Webi bot not only selects the existing question and answer method, but also finds out the intention of the questioner and presents the answer by talking with the customer like the agent.

The user can also ask questions by voice in addition to the conventional way of asking questions such as "1: 1 real-time talk (Talk) consultation".

User can also ask questions by voice in addition to text. It also provides common knowledge such as weather and person information in addition to financial information.

Wibi bot can be used on Wibi bank, Wibi talk, etc. Wibi bot plans to expand to smart banking and internet banking.

An employee of Woori Bank said, "Through learning, we will develop the banking service as a service that can be consulted 24 hours a day, 365 days a year."

Meanwhile, Kookmin Bank also participated in the competition between Woori Bank and Hana Bank. Kookmin Bank said it has officially launched Live T Talk, an interactive banking application (app).

Rib Smart is an application designed to execute financial transactions with chat or voice commands. Enter commands such as #, @, and \ in the dialog window to execute commands easily.

For instance, if user types `# card`, he/she can see the card usage details and the amount you are going to pay. If you type `KRW 20,000`, you can easily send KRW 20,000 to the other party. It introduced the voice certification for the first time in banknotes.

Uer can say "open up" and he/she will be able to identify and authenticate instead of typing in your password.

Also, it is possible to execute the transaction by saying "Let`s send 30,000 won to Kim ¡Û¡Û¡± and authenticate it as "Open clever".

There is also a "safe send" feature that allows the recipient to receive money within 30 minutes of the transfer and cancel the transfer at any time before in order to prevent misdemeanor and voice phishing damage.
