‘Kakao Money’ to have been sold within 38 minutes… Heating AI speaker competition

The Kakao Mini is a device that uses the Kakao AI platform Kakao I. The mobile messenger KakaoTalk and music service melon are linked to the cacao account. Users can speak with a speaker in `Hey Kakao` and send a message with a cacao talk by voice. Calendar, alarm, memo registration and confirmation, and information such as news, exchange rate, stock price, and fortune can be used as a voice. In the future, Cacao will increase its service area by taxi calls, food ordering, shopping, and finance.
The sale price of the Kakao mini sold on the day is 3000, and the reserved selling price is about 50,000% discounted from the full sale price (KRW 119,000). The reservation buyer was provided with a one-year subscription to the `Melon Streaming Club`, which allows unlimited listening, and a single cacao friend figure dedicated to cacao. Buyers are expected to be available in mid-October, and regular sales begin at the end of October. A Kakao representative said, "We have increased the number of servers for Kakao mini sales. However, the number of users has increased more than expected and the connection has been delayed."
Meanwhile, in the past, when Naver purchased a one-year subscription to Naver Music, it eventually made a wave-first event and recorded it in 35 minutes. In the second event, which sold Naver Music 1 year voucher for wave KRW 40,000 and it sold 4000 units in two days.
Naver representative said, "We are preparing a variety of line-ups such as portable line-art AI speakers and AI speakers with displays."
