The prospect that the main chaebols (conglomerates) and CEOs of large conglomerates will appear in the post of chairman of the National Assembly as witnesses ahead of the inspection of the National Assembly next month, and that this year will also become a "businessmen`s government". In particular, this year, there are concerns in the business world that the new government`s chaebol reforms and fair competition issues are causing the recruitment of questionnaires to businessmen.

According to political circles and business circles on September 14, it is expected that large corporations` CEOs and corporate CEOs will be selected as witnesses before the inspection of the government in October. In fact, in the National Assembly committee, which has jurisdiction over the Fair Trade Commission, there is a list of major chaebols such as Samsung, Hyundai, and SK as well as a list of CEOs of major corporations. According to the list, 32 of the 26 companies and 22 CEOs of 19 financial institutions were asked to be witnesses during the year`s general affairs audit. This list is said to have been made in some members of the cabinet of the Korea Military Commission.

Hyundai Motor Group chairman Chung Mong-koo, LG Group chairman Koo Bon-moo, SK Group chairman Chey Tae-won, Lotte Group chairman Shin Dong-bin, and Shinsegae Group chairman Lee Myung-hee. In the financial sector, major figures such as Kim Jong-tae, Chairman of Hana Financial Group, Park Hyun-joo, Mirae Asset Daewoo Chairman, Wonkuk Hee Shinyoung Securities Chairman, Yoon Young Kim,

It is said that the large corporations are trying to get a job in the National Assembly, the ownership of the owner`s house is infringed, the commerce of small businesses is infringed, the surplus commission is imposed on the suppliers of small and medium enterprises, It is said that they have requested corporate CEOs as witnesses.

It is analyzed that the situation in which the heads of large companies and executives of major corporations attend witnesses will be reissued, and the whole business as well as the companies mentioned in the document is sulking. On the other hand, there are concerns that the 20th National Assembly, following the 19th National Assembly, is recalling too many entrepreneurs every year, just like the national government, without any particular reason.

A representative from the company said, "If there is a mistake in corporate management, it should be summoned to the head of state. But it is not understandable to try to give businessmen reasons for not knowing what kind of problems they are talking about.¡±

As the controversy grew, the National Assembly official said on the day that the list of witness requests was not a confirmed list after internal discussions.

The ruling and opposition groups of the ruling and opposition parties will meet in the National Assembly on September 15 to coordinate opinions on the application for the state witness. As a result, the list of ultimatum witnesses is expected to be on the 28th of this month. This is because it needs to send a notice of attendance two to three weeks before the National Diet for smooth witness attendance.

A member of the National Assembly stated, "The officials of the commission will meet on September 15 to discuss the witnesses who will attend the inspection of the state next month," he said. "First of all, it will be a place to check the witnesses needed by each party."

However, it is anticipated that the ruling and opposition parties will be confronted tightly for the election of the prime minister. "The Democratic Party will try to invite the owners and CEOs of the companies that are deemed to have problems without the sanctuary as witnesses," said an official from the National Assembly. "We will try to minimize corporate officials, saying that they cannot be called as a national witness to disgrace business owners."
