`Digital Insight Conference` To be held at COEX on May 18 New business model of cloud•AI•IoT application introduction

¡°Google, Uber, Facebook and Tesla are the corporations that everyone envies wants to work for. To become the all those corporations like enterprise some say that we need be ready for digital transformation, the fourth industrial revolution etc. But what we really need to do for the first is the question.¡±

It is a complaint of corporate IT managers. It is an age that all organizations are demanded `digital transformation` for survival and future. Cloud • AI • Big Data • Internet of Things (IoT) • Advanced security technologies are deepening into business and personal life. Although companies are trying to gain differentiated competitiveness and new business models through digital transformation, the situation, in fact, is not easy.

This year IT industry expects digital transformation to lead not only IT domain but also global economic change. However, according to a recent study by Dell EMC, only 5 % of companies worldwide have completed digital transformation, and 95 % of companies are at risk of losing their competitors in achieving digital innovation.

What is digital transformation and how can we have a successful business environment in digital transformation? The answer can be found at the `2017 Digital Insight Conference` held on May 18 at COEX in Seoul, Korea, under the theme of `Digital Transformation, Breaking the Boundary of Technology (The Age of Convergence, HW and SW Evolve)`. In the conference, IT experts are expected to introduce on utilizing data specifically from cloud, big data, and next generation security.

Joo Young-no, CEO of Dell EMC Korea is planned to give a lecture on ¡®IT Transformation that enables Business Innovation¡¯ in the morning of conference. Meanwhile Choi Won-young, Director of Red Hat Korea will give a lecture on ¡®Cloud Strategy for Software Defined Enterprise¡¯. Lee Kyung-eun, CEO of Oracle Korea, will give the lecture on ¡®IoT and digital transformation¡¯ and Koh Joon-yeong, director of SAS Korea, will give a keynote speech on the subject of `Industry 4.0 led by Big Data-based Insight`.

In the afternoon session, there are two tracks: ¡â Criteo (Future of e-Commerce, Director Jung Sung-woo) ¡â Hyosung Information System (Strategy for IT Modernization and DX Implementation Case, general manager, Kwon Pil-ju) ¡â Veritas Korea (Effective information management through data insight, manager Ahn Hyun-jeong) ¡â Thales Korea (Cyber Security in the Digital Transition Era, general manager, Ku Byung-chun) ¡â South Korea Hewlett-Packard Enterprise (On-premise IT consumption model proposal with cloud advantage, general manager, Kang Min-gook) ¡â Pure storage ¡â Korea Tera data (Direction of Survival In the era of digitalization, Managing Director Noh Chang-suk) will present strategies and market trends and future directions for each company.
