Virtual reality (VR) games are in the center of attention as a star-married couple rides a virtual universe with a VR head-mounted display before going to bed.

Since then, netizens have been wondering about VR games through portal sites by questions such as ‘What is the VR game device, which brand is it?" And ‘What is VR game title in broadcasting?’ etc.

According to the industry on March 6, this year, it is predicted that VR games will be able to witness the phenomenon of penetrating into ``Entertainment`` areas that the public can enjoy such as TV entertainment programs in the ``research`` area of developers.

The company launched its first VR game, ‘Blade & Soul Table Arena’, at the Game Developers Conference (GDC) 2017, an international game conference, which was closed at the Moscone Center in San Francisco on March 3 (local time). ‘Blade & Soul Table Arena’ is a real-time strategy VR game in which the character of PC original online game ‘Blade & Soul’ appears. The company participated as Oculus partner of VR Company in this event and one of Oculus`` to be launched games has been introduced.

Users can use the VR controller to summon a character to the battlefield (arena) and attack enemies. In addition to the Oculus lift version, the company also plans to launch the game in various platforms such as HTC Vibe and Sony PS VR in VR game market in earnest.

Dragon Fly, which has been developing the VR shooting games ``Tobot VR`` and ``Special Force VR``, which are expected to be launched in the third quarter of this year, will soon display VR games and contents at the municipality related centers. Besides, more people are considering participating in the 2017 Play Expo- a game exhibition to be held in KINTEX, Ilsan, in May to allow more people to experience their VR contents.


Earlier Dragonfly was selected as the Global Star Game Division in the ‘2016 Global Giant Gwangju Project Support Project - Global Star Game Division’ held by the Gwangju Information Culture Industry Promotion Agency (Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology). This project was developed to nurture the world``s best virtual reality (VR) game companies, and Dragonfly has received a total of KRW 400 million in development support through ``Special Force VR Game``. Tobot VR was awarded KRW 300 million by the Korea Creative Content Agency for ‘2016 modern convergence game contents activation support program’.
