Hancom Inc. and TmaxSoft in domestic software field has entered ¡®100 billion club¡¯ as those enterprises reached annual 100 billion won revenue.
It is being people¡¯s interest if more enterprises enters ¡®100 billion club¡¯. Webcash, Secui and Softcen Co., Ltd are considered as candidates.
According to Korea Software Industry Association on 13 February, TmaxSoft, Hancom Inc., and Webcash, Secui and Softcen Co., Ltd have recorder highest performance in 50 billion won club in 2015 revenue basis as domestic package SW enterprises (except for game, integrated system).
Those enterprises¡¯ annual revenue exceeded 70 billion won.
Among those companies, Hancom Inc. has announced its 2016 tentative revenue as 100 billion 120 million won and entered to 100 billion club following by DuzonBizon Co., Ltd as domestic package SW enterprise.
And also, TmaxSoft exceeded 100 billion won in 19 years with last year revenue.
In addition, companies that are expected to exceed sales of 100 billion won last year are Soft Sense, a subsidiary of the Sen Group, and Secui and Webcash, which are security subsidiaries of Samsung SDS. In particular, SoftSense, which focuses on medical information systems, recorded sales of 74bn won from January to September last year, exceeding sales of 72bn won in 2015 before closing the annual sales.
Webcash is also expected to grow by 10% over last year``s sales of 88.7 billion won. The company recorded sales of 68bn won from January to September last year. The company recorded sales of 86 billion won last year and cumulative sales reached 59 billion won by the third quarter of last year. By the end of next month, the Financial Supervisory Service (FSS) is in the process of being publicized, but in the industry, these companies`` earnings are expected to rise. In addition, leading security companies, AhnLab and SK Infosec, have already exceeded 100 billion won in sales since 2013. "It is not easy to achieve 100 billion won in sales with pure package SW products," an official in the SW industry said. "Domestic software companies are expanding their sales by expanding various subsidiary businesses and business divisions due to sluggish sales."
