The government is pushing for a subcommittee to explore the possibility of technology leaks in the battery sector designated as the national core technologies. Given the possibility of a possible leakage of technology, the government has already been highly sensitive to the so-called ` configuration of the domestic battery factory `, which has already been deployed abroad. Earlier, the government set up a separate subcommittee to evaluate the export approval of OLED technology in LG Display.
According to the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Energy (MOCIE), it is currently reviewing the so-called construction of batteries in batteries. Batteries are designated as national core technologies, and companies seeking to export overseas technologies abroad must report to the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Energy and obtain approval from them, which is comprised of 14 experts appointed by the government. If the R&D budget is approved, it is subject to approval and is classified as a target for reporting.

The government will not be specializing in semiconductors, displays, and batteries, but will form a separate subcommittee. An official from the Ministry said, "We decided to set up a separate expert-centered subcommittee to examine the export approval of displays, and we are considering creating a subcommittee that examines the possibility of key technology leakage in the battery field. "We are considering extending the so-called configuration to other core technology areas," he added

The government has reviewed the so-called battery and opened a national technology export review committee to establish or establish factories overseas
The company also has the authority to direct restoration (demolition). If the government does not allow exports, domestic battery makers should dismantle factories that are under construction overseas or already built. LG Chem and Samsung SDI have already built battery plants in China and other countries. Samsung SDI is currently building an electric car battery factory in Hungary and is considering construction of a mid- to large-sized battery plant in Wuxi, China.
An source of the battery industry said, "We are worried that difficulties will be added to the management of companies, such as braking overseas."
