New car rust and corrosion problems sparked by Honda Korea spread to Toyota and Nissan, and are spreading throughout Japan. It is expected that the reliability of Japanese imported car companies, which have been evaluated as durable and good quality, will be inevitable.

According to the industry on September 6, after the launch of Honda`s new CR-V new car in April, some metallic brackets in the car have been found to cause corrosion. Corrosion occurred mainly in metal parts (brackets) supporting the body under the driver`s dashboard and in internal steel welds. Honda Korea is investigating the vehicle and repairing it free of charge, but consumer organizations have accused the company of prosecutors.

After Honda`s new vehicle erosion controversy, the automobile recall center received rust damage from Toyota Camry and Camry Hybrid vehicles. The number of cases filed on August 21 has increased to 70 cases since it was no longer than two days. Corrosion appeared across the driver seat braking pedal, inside the passenger seat, and around the vehicle engine bolt.

The fire broke up to Nissan. Through online cafes, some car owners in Nissan Altima also inspect the inside of the vehicle and claim that they found rusty. Nissan, however, is believed to have suffered limited corrosion in some vehicles, unlike the Honda New CR-V, which appears to be concentrated in specific production models.

Japanese imported cars, like other imported cars, are produced overseas and loaded into ships to enter the country. In this process, some corrosion may occur depending on various bad conditions such as sea breeze. However, it is pointed out that it is not easy to understand that the quality inspection that is carried out in Korea does not understand such a problem.

An automobile industry expert said, "Domestic imported automobiles are subject to final inspection at the vehicle inspection center before departing from Pyeongtaek port. The quality problem is that the final inspection process did not work properly."
